In our lead-up to International Women’s Day, we are celebrating a few of the incredible people in our firm that #PressforProgress on a daily basis. Eileen Vanderburgh is such a person. When she isn’t gearing up to be heard at the Supreme Court of Canada, you can find her enthusiastically volunteering to raise much-needed awareness and funds for the KidSafe Project Society, a Vancouver-based charity dedicated to providing safe havens and services to over 450 vulnerable inner-city children and youth each year. She is also the Chair of the Law Foundation of BC whose mandate is to fund education, legal research, legal aid, law reform and law libraries for the benefit of British Columbians. Many of our lawyers have commented on the thoughtful mentorship she provides, always taking the time to explain issues and offering support when needed.
