Louis is an Associate and a member of the firm’s Insurance and Business Dispute Practice Groups.

Louis’s practice is primarily litigation-based, with a focus on insurance defence. He assists clients in defending their interests across a diverse range of insurance matters, focusing on bodily injury, occupiers’ liability, commercial general liability, and property damage claims.

Louis has represented clients in litigation involving subrogation claims, business partnerships, collection and debt matters, lease disputes, real property, renovation and construction, general contractual disputes, and the defence of charges under the Fisheries Act and Criminal Code of Canada.

Louis has experience conducting both jury and judge alone trials in British Columbia and has also appeared before the Provincial and Superior Courts of Ontario.

Louis prides himself on helping clients navigate the uncertainties of litigation and aims to provide practical, business-minded advice.

On A Personal Note...

Outside of work, Louis enjoys playing hockey and tennis. He also thrives on the excitement of travelling to new destinations.
