Genevieve Smith joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2023 and returned as an articling student in July 2024.
Genevieve recently graduated from the University of Manitoba. During her final year of law school, she completed an externship with Manitoba’s Department of Justice, and participated in the Solomon Greenberg Moot. Throughout law school, she participated in several moot competitions and won the course awards in Negotiations and Advanced Advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked in various roles ranging from an administrative assistant to a camp counsellor. Before attending law school, she completed her undergraduate degree in history at UBC and spent a semester abroad at the University of Edinburgh.
