Ashley Clark joined Alexander Holburn as an articling student in July 2024.

Ashley attended Law School at McGill University, where she completed dual Common Law and Civil Law degrees. At McGill, Ashley competed in the bilingual (English-French) Goldwater Dubé Moot competition. Her written factum placed first out of 12 teams.

Ashley enjoyed volunteering at the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution (MJDR), and the Center for Research Action on Race Relations (CRARR), while completing her law studies.

Prior to Law School, Ashley obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master’s degree in Global Development. Her Master’s thesis research was conducted in Metro Manila, the Philippines, and examined the disproportionate impact of flooding on informal settlers.

On A Personal Note...

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys trying new recipes (Gluten Free and Dairy Free) and exploring new places, both locally and internationally. She is excited to join the team at AHBL and is looking forward to learning as much as she can during her articles.
