Michael Nadeau is successful counsel in a recent Supreme Court of British Columbia decision

Michael Nadeau, Partner, was recently successful in defending an insurance broker relating to coverage issues and allegations of errors and omissions involving an undisclosed medical marijuana grow-op. The case, Schellenberg v. Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, 2019 BCSC 196, appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, wherein Madam Justice Fleming dismissed the Schellenbergs’ claims against Wawanesa and Hub for failing to notify the brokers of the material change in risk.
