Matthew Desmarais is a member of the Labour + Employment, Business Disputes, Intellectual Property + Technology, Cannabis, and Corporate/Commercial Practice Groups. Matthew is a strong advocate for his clients and seeks to provide practical, business-focused advice. He has represented clients at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal, as well as the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, WorkSafeBC’s Review Division, and various arbitrations.
Naomi Krueger is a member of the Administrative Law, Insurance, Health, Defamation + Publication Risk Management, and Local Government Practice Groups. Naomi’s practice is litigation-based with a focus on municipal, health, administrative and police law. On a day-to-day basis, Naomi deals with a variety of claims including professional negligence, professional disciplinary matters, personal injury, property damage, occupiers’ liability and products’ liability.
Nicolas Pimentel is a member of the firm’s Aviation and Insurance Practice Groups. Nicolas Pimentel’s practice is primarily litigation based. He has advised and represented aviation insurers, airlines, aircraft operators, and maintenance organizations in relation to aircraft accident and wrongful death claims in multiple jurisdictions, aviation-related product liability matters, coverage disputes, complex personal injury claims, and class actions. He also handles administrative law matters, including complaints to the Canadian Transportation Agency and the Canadian Human Rights Commission and Tribunal, and reviews hearings and appeals before the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada.
